Here Comes the BOOM

The fireworks this year were just as amazing if not even more so than last year. After a day of moving some friends out of their apartment and into ours for a brief time, we headed to the beach were 4 of our other friends were saving spots for us to watch the show. We hung out on the beach with our group of 11, along with more than a million others. We spent a few hours talking and playing games before it began. We owe a HUGE thanks to Mark, Rachel, Mike, and Natashia who staked out our spots even earlier and fought off all of the Koreans who wanted to move in on our territory.

Cine de Chef - Take 2

We went to Cine de Chef a few weekends ago and had one of the best steaks we have ever had! We got to relax in lazy boy chairs with warmed blankets while we watched Gravity. Here are some of our pictures from the night!

First Field Trips of the Year

Justin and I have each had our first field trips of the year. Justin went to a Digital Art Museum and my class went to a Dinosaur Park. Enjoy some fun pictures of our kids!

BFS Basketball

Laura and I are coaching the girls basketball team at our high school again this year, and we had our first tournament a few weekends ago. I am happy to report that our team went 4-0 and even beat our biggest rival (BIFS) two times that day. It's been a few years since that has happened, so it was really exciting!

Founder's Day 2013

Today was Founder's Day at our school which means that we celebrated the opening of our school by having a school-wide field day all afternoon. The high school leadership class planned games and activities for the last two hours of the day, and we got some great shots of our kids.
